Yesterday Ellis went to a birthday party for Jake and Lucy. They are the twins of some friends of mine and Kevin and they turned 3. Ellis really likes to play with them and was excited to go to a party....he sang happy birthday Jake and Lucy all day.
Finally the time came for me to wake him up and to comb his hair (I took a picture before he messed it up). We went to the party and suddenly Ellis was shy and looked surprised that there were other kids there. After awhile he had a great time. It was a party done in true Northwest fashion...outside in the rain under tarps, kind of like when you go camping. They had fun activities, all involving sugary treats...that was ok because we got to take Ellis to Nana and Papa’s afterwards so that Kevin and I could actually look at each other and have dinner. Something we haven't done in a about a month or so. Enjoy the photos!
