Snail Trail

So Ellis has a cold. 

 

I've heard Mike say this before, but I have a healthy respect for what he meant by the fact that it's amazing how much "stuff" can come out of a little boy's body.  In this case it's his nose.  I don't think I'm even capable of producing this much snot.  

Anyways, Kevin had him for the night while I was away at school, but when I came home he told me a funny thing.  Ellis is just the right height for his nose and the edge of the counter.  Yup- you guessed it.  He proceeded to run his nose along the edge of the counter, leaving a trail behind him!

 

I'm thinking he's brilliant, the counter is granite, and it probably was cold and felt great on his little raw nose!  I still laugh thinking about it and wish I could have seen it in person.
